- Wear comfortable clothes to exercise (sweat) in (shorts, t-shirt, sports bra for women)

- Note: If your appointment is after 12 noon, you may have a light breakfast before 7:00 am the day of your study.
- Do not eat or drink any caffeine or “decaffeinated” products for 24 hours prior to your study (coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, hot chocolate, colas/soft drinks or medications like Anacin or Excedrin.)
- Diabetics:
If you are taking insulin, give yourself half of your regular morning dose. If you take oral diabetic medication, and your test is before 12 noon, hold your morning dose and bring it to take after your test is completed. Please inform the technologist you are diabetic when you arrive.
